Gut health – therapeutic approach
When patients come to me with gastrointestinal complaints, I first take a detailed medical history to find out what could have caused the gut imbalance.
In many cases, stool diagnostics can be a good additional tool for diagnosing unclear abdominal complaints, as changes in the intestinal mucosa and disturbances in the gut microflora can be detected in the laboratory. Based on a close examination of symptoms, laboratory findings, psychological and emotional issues, and their interrelationships, I then draw up a bespoke therapy plan tailored to the needs of my patients, with a focus on naturopathic methods.
The reactivation and stimulation of the body’s own regulatory mechanisms and self-healing powers is an important goal of my therapy recommendations.
